Introduce and test methods to improve the transparency in forest management that ensures public participation in decision-making processes for forest-related issues.
The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in the framework of the Program “Improving Forest Law Enforcement and Governance (FLEG) in the European Neighborhood Policy East Countries and Russia” (www.enpi-fleg.org) announces an open call for consultants (organizations) interested in to implement an activities entitled:Introduce and test methods to improve the transparency in forest management that ensures public participation in decision-making processes for forest-related issues (use of Internet sites, Public Advisory Councils, work with citizens’ inquiries and appeals are a few examples)
1. LOCATION: Ukraine
2. DURATION: 3 months with possible extension
3. STARTING: mid-March 2010
4. SUBMISSION – the consultants (organization) interested has to submit electronically expressions of interest and detailed qualification information on the consultants’ (organizations’) experience and competence relevant to the assignment to the following e-mail address: info@enpi-fleg.org.
